Cole’s take on the Hi-Standard™ Pro nods to the lights, the signs, the architecture, and the community that are given a refreshed sense of purpose at night. Offering a landscape for new experiences outside of traditional resort and mountain riding, the boot and a supporting footwear collection stay true to the authentic vision of Cole and Vans.
The Hi-Standard™ Pro marries reflective materials with the workhorse V2 suite, including a V2 UltraCush™ with Smartwool® liner, a first-to-market Merino wool outfitted boot liner which provides new levels of comfort and warmth. The boot also features V2 POPCUSH™— a dual density, 3D-molded, anatomically shaped and PU-blended footbed with a TPU arch support clip for added stability and torsional flex. V2 Waffle Pro™ outsole offers a pro-level blended outsole that provides a lightweight and flexible build for cross-terrain adaptability, placing this boot squarely at the intersection of where technical performance and progressive design collide.
In addition to his boot, Cole also worked with Vans on a Standard Mid Snow Boot in black/reflective and a Lampin shoe in black. A trailblazer both on the board and off, Cole brings his unique take to the silhouettes, making them entirely his own.
Blending power and style with a knack for outside-the-box trick selection, Cole Navin has set himself apart from the pack thanks to his one-of-a-kind style. In 2015, Cole’s part in a local snowboard film, Root 9, placed him in the spotlight; a year later in 2016, Cole was named Transworld SNOWboarding’s Rookie of the Year, and that same year, he was invited to compete in the X Games Real Snow competition, which introduced him to the global snowboarding community. Since then, Cole continues to land parts in influential snowboarding films, pushing his progression as an artist, athlete and individual.
