WyEast Mountain Academy, the premiere action sports boarding school, is excited to announce their annual “Good in the Woods” fundraising art show and auction, which will be held on October 7, 2023, at Nemo Design HQ in Portland. The event aims to raise funds to support need blind admissions at the academy, providing equal opportunities for talented students from all backgrounds.
WyEast Mountain Academy is renowned for its dedication to nurturing and developing the next generation of action sports athletes. The academy offers comprehensive programs in freestyle skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, skateboarding, and more, combining athletic training with academic education. With a strong commitment to inclusivity and diversity, the academy is striving to eliminate financial barriers through need blind admissions.
The fundraising art show and auction at Nemo Design will showcase a curated collection of art pieces donated by renowned photographers, artists, athletes, and supporters of the academy. Attendees will get to enjoy a live DJ, axe throwing and smores, with gourmet bites by The WyEast Academy and drinks provided by 10-barrel Brewing, Liquid Death, and local wineries.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on auction items, including renowned action sports photography, snowboarding, skiing, and mountain biking gear, holiday destinations, airline tickets and more, with proceeds going towards need blind admissions. The silent auction will also exist online here.
This event not only provides an exciting evening of art and culture but also serves as a platform for individuals and businesses to contribute to the future success of talented young athletes.
