Barney & Barney's Latest Alert Covers the Aftermath of Workplace Violence

In its latest blog post, Barney & Barney shares an article by Michael Bottenberg, Co-Founder of Vigilance Risk Solutions, LLC entitled “The Aftermath of Workplace Violence: Are You Prepared to Survive Your Worst Nightmare?” 

In the article, Bottenberg notes that although these horrific events have touched nearly all industries, many companies have not yet put together a well thought-out response to help them through the overwhelming challenges of dealing with both the event itself and its aftermath.

Bottenberg points out that the ways in which companies respond to these challenges “can mean the difference between making a full recovery and closing your doors.”  

His article details what companies can expect after a hostile event in terms of its human toll and psychological effects, as well as financial effects and the effects on corporate culture.
