Productivity
Our latest sign printers are among the fastest in their price class. This was achieved by designing a completely new precision media feeding and take-up system with optical sensors to ensure virtually any roll-based media would feed accurately with a lesser chance of buckling. When combined with our latest generation PrecisionCore® TFP® print head, everyday production speeds can be increased before typical banding can occur.
Reliability
Unlike most signage printers requiring maintenance once per day, Epson developed the SureColor S-Series to require maintenance only once per month for most users. This was achieved by developing a unique Fabric Wiping System to clean the print head and surrounding areas automatically. In addition, replaceable air filters were designed into the printer to capture internal contaminants before they can settle within the printer. Along with dozens of smaller details like this, Epson created a printer line with very high reliability allowing you to focus more on printing and less on maintenance.
Image Quality
Print quality has always been our passion at Epson. So, we’ve developed new solvent imaging technologies like Epson Precision Dot™ Screening along with Variable Sized Droplet capabilities to significantly reduce print grain and banding. And when combined with Epson UltraChrome GS3 solvent ink, this latest generation of sign printers have taken print quality to all new levels – providing you with a clear competitive advantage.
