In the California Competes Tax Credit program’s final year, the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development is authorized to negotiate more than $230 million in tax credits over three application periods.

The first application period opens July 24, 2017, offering $75 million to businesses located inside and outside of California with plans to produce new full-time jobs in California.
