The Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our ocean, waves and beaches, announced the addition of Ian Stewart, VP of Marketing at Deckers and former Surfrider Marketing Director, to Surfrider’s Board of Directors as Chair of Marketing.
“Ian has made a significant impact and contribution to Surfrider’s mission of protecting our ocean and coasts,” said Dr. Chad Nelsen, CEO of the Surfrider Foundation. “We are pleased to have Ian’s world-class talent on our Board of Directors as Chair of Marketing to continue the momentum of Surfrider’s marketing efforts that he helped lead during this past year.”
A brand marketer with 25 years of regional and global experience around the world, Ian most recently served as Marketing Director for the Surfrider Foundation, following the role as head of marketing at Converse. He has also held previous marketing positions at MTV, Coca-Cola, and Ogilvy.
