Ying Yang, VP of Business Development at CIT Commercial Services, will discuss a traditional financing option for growing your fashion business. Factoring, a widely used tool, will be explained in detail. Non-recourse factoring allows you to mitigate credit risk. Additionally factoring provides financing solutions to address working capital needs faced by many growing businesses. The presentation will include an overview of factoring products as well as a look at how this tool is utilized by manufacturers to grow their business.

About the Presenter:

Ying Yang is the Vice President of Business Development for the Western Region of CIT Commercial Services. Her responsibilities include sourcing and closing factoring and asset based lending deals. Ying joined CIT in 2003 and has held a number of positions including credit analyst, account executive and senior underwriter. In 2006, Ying joined the New Business Department where she became a major contributor toward the Western Region’s many successes. Prior to resuming the Business Development role and for the last three years, she oversaw the underwriting team which structured and closed flexible financing transactions tailored for consumer product companies in the apparel, footwear, accessories, textile, furniture, home furnishing, consumer electronics and housewares industries. Recognized for her deep understanding of credit and a solution driven mindset, Ying brings an innovative approach to the West Coast sales effort. Ying is actively committed to many philanthropic causes and serves on the board of organizations such as the Fashion Industries Guild of Cedars Sinai Medical Center, City of Hope Fashion and Retail Group, the National Jewish Medical and Research Center and the Voice for Maddie Foundation. In addition to volunteering for charitable organizations, Ying is also a member of several professional groups including The Professionals Club, The Consumer Electronics Association, the California Fashion Association, amongst others. Ying holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
