Turtle Bay Resort’s recent makeover was reviewed by Ann Abel in the August 8th issue of Forbes Magazine.  Her article praises the renovations, noting that the room upgrades, the reinvention of our restaurants with new “sea to table” cuisine, and the new and popular Surfer, The Bar all make the resort “more comfortable, more modern, and more memorable.”

Abel goes on to say that, “..the biggest transformation was in the spa, where they nearly doubled the space to encompass 11,000 square feet, including one of the most scenic gyms I’ve ever seen and a lovely open-air treatment room, where the sound of the surf is a welcome accompaniment to a massage.”  She pointed out the new wave motion massage table and “superstar therapists” which “make the spa worth the trip.”

Abel finishes the review on a high note, stating that, “Turtle Bay is still a big resort, but it’s a solid introduction to the real Hawaii—and a place that’s deeply relaxing along the way.”
