As NRI Distribution Inc. continues to grow and expand in Canada and the United States, the third-party logistics provider also continues to build and refine its strong leadership team. This month, two significant moves came in the form of an addition and a promotion.
NRI has hired Brian White, former Vice President of Sales for Nixon, Inc., to lead Business Development. Additionally, Ryan Dale-Johnson, former Director of Accounts for NRI, was promoted to Director of Business Services in the Los Angeles office. These changes in leadership have strengthened the NRI Distributions team, aiding the company in their current period of rapid growth.
North American Advancement
With the recent growth in Montreal and plans for expansion into East Coast USA in Spring 2020, NRI Distributions believes the addition of White as Director of Business Development will help the firm enter new markets.
White brings with him extensive experience developing global programs for action, outdoor, department, and sporting goods clients both at Nixon, Inc. and at his previous, award-winning sales and marketing agency, Unlimited Sales.
“At Nixon, I refined my business development skills and forged key account relationships that incorporated drop shipping and marketplace partnerships,” said White. “I take pride in connecting partners with opportunity and see an immense value for brands working with NRI.

A trusted trade speaker and recipient of Toronto’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” award, White is eager to draw on his comprehensive sales, marketing, and entrepreneurial experience to drive growth as Director of Business Development.
Strong leaders built through decades-long working relationships
Both Dale-Johnson and White have longstanding relationships with NRI Distribution. Dale-Johnson has worked for the firm since 2003, previously serving in the Director of Business Development and Director of Accounts roles. White has also remained a staunch ally of NRI over the past two decades, as many of his agency’s clients distributed products through NRI.
NRI Distribution is proud to promote Dale-Johnson and welcome White to the team, as both men have proven success and dedication to the growth and cultivation of NRI’s client base.

McKenna looks forward to Dale-Johnson, moving into a 100% accounts-based role.

Dale-Johnson’s promotion includes a move from his hometown and NRI’s founding city of Kamloops, British Columbia to NRI’s Los Angeles office location in order to be closer to leadership and the center of the firm’s business development.
“The personal move for my family and I will be a significant change, but one we are looking forward to,” said Dale-Johnson. “My skis and mountain bike may collect a little dust for a while; however, the ocean brings many new opportunities for adventure, as well as all the nearby state and national parks. I’ve been dreaming of climbing in Joshua Tree National Park for 30 years.”
