After three years of hard work by Surfrider’s San Francisco Chapter and allies, the city has adopted an ordinance that will ban single-use plastic straws, utensils, stirrers and similar items.
This victory will help reduce plastic pollution and protect clean water and healthy beaches for this and future generations.
