Swim Collective announced an addition to their product mix for the upcoming show. Beach at Swim Collective will debut at the August 1 – 2, 2018 Swim Collective in Anaheim, CA.
Beach at Swim Collective will offer a curated assemblage of apparel and accessories selected to complement the show’s current swim offering and enhance the buying options for retailers.
Swim Collective’s Show Director Roy Turner said, “We’re excited to add the new Beach collection to Swim Collective. It’s a natural fit.”
The new category will be centrally located within Swim Collective, in the center of the show. Swim Collective once again will be co-located with Active Collective, adding even more options for buyers.
Chicago based Londo Mondo’s Vice President/Buyer Donna West commented, “We have been attending the Swim Collective for a few years now and have decided that it is a perfect fit for us! The atmosphere is energetic yet not overwhelming. We are able to work closely with our vendors and not be rushed to leave the venue to attend another show like we had to do in Miami. Beach at Swim Collective is the perfect place to plan our selection of swimwear for our stores.”
“I’m excited to have Beach at Swim Collective. Since I attend mainly Swim shows, it’s helpful to have other products such as cover-ups footwear and accessories available to me. This will be a big help and a time-saver for my business,” added Linda Meyer, Owner of Bikini Factory.
The juried collection of brands will include higher-end resort wear, cover ups and sun protection apparel as well as unique towels, hats, footwear and other accessories. The new category is attracting top brands including Koy Resort, Reef, Sea Star, Jordan Taylor, Peter Grimm, Skova and Coolibar; all who’ll be exhibiting in August. Swim Collective’s Sales VP, Jane Preston commented, “The Beach element has always been a part of our show, now the brands finally have a home where buyers can easily shop the category.”
Libby Fitzgerald, CEO of Sea Star Beachwear commented, “Being based in New York City, we love the exposure to not only West Coast buyers, but also the many international retailers who attend the show. The buyers are also from top-notch retailers, large and small.”
“We’ll be launching our 2019 Cruise line at Swim Collective, exhibiting in the new Beach section. The show captures a crucial audience of specialty retailers, boutiques, department stores and online avenues all in one tradeshow,” said Annique Wills, Marketing Specialist for Koy Resort.
“Bollare is thrilled to partner with Swim Collective once again, and the new Beach section is going to be a hit with our editors and influencers,” added Tera Leuthauser, VP at fashion and lifestyle PR firm Bollare.
