SIMA held the official launch party for The Float Collective Thursday night at the Bungalow in Huntington Beach.
The Float Collective celebrates the surf industry coming together to help those in need.Â
The campaign brings together industry brands, specialty retailers, and globally recognized ambassadors to raise awareness and proceeds for the SIMA Humanitarian Fund.
Float Collective products from Corkcicle, Electric, Nixon, Quiksilver, Raw Elements, Rip Curl, Roark, RVCA, Captain Fin, Grand Trunk and Stance were on display, while guests enjoyed cocktails and tacos from Bear Flag.
Each Float Collective bracelet and product sale provides a contribution to the SIMA Humanitarian Fund.Â
Float bracelets are sold at South Coast Surf Shop, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Val Surf, Heritage Surf & Sport, Spyder, Maui Nix, Brave New World, BC Surf & Sport, Sun Diego Board Shop, Aqua East Surf Shop, Jack’s Surfboards, Hansen Surfboards, Island Water Sports, Surf Ride and Huntington Surf & Sport, among others.
The 2017 beneficiaries of the SIMA Humanitarian Fund include: AccesSurf, Amazing Surf Adventures, Best Day Foundation, Boys to Men, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation, John Wayne Cancer Foundation, Life Rolls On, Mauli Ola Foundation, Outdoor Outreach, STOKED Mentoring, SurfAid, Surfers Healing and Valpo Surf Project.
