Mad Engine is announcing this morning that it is acquiring Neff Headwear for an undisclosed sum from Marlin Equity Partners and the Neff family.

Mad Engine is on an acquisition tear, having bought LRG in March and with more buys on the way.

Shaun Neff will stay as the head of Neff and will also take on a new role as Chief Creative Officer at Mad Engine.

Neff is a brand that Mad Engine has long admired and that has “significant untapped potential,” CEO Danish Gajiani said.

In a statement, Mad Engine said it wants to thank Moss Adams, Buchalter and Wells Fargo for their assistance with this acquisition and their continuous support.
