Future Motion, makers of Onewheel, hosts Pro Athletes of all disciplines at Caravan Outpost for a two-day rider summit and unveiling of the new Onewheel+.
Former Pro Snowboarder and personality Todd Richards, Freestyle Mountain Bike legend Darren Berrecloth, Jackass member Dave England, former Burton videographer Aaron Hooper, SUP Pro Mike Tavares and Surfers Monyca and Ola Eleogram and Austin Smith-Ford converged at Caravan Outpost in Ojai for a chance to ride the newly released Onewheel+. The two-day jam session featured some of the most progressive off-road riding to date as well as antics including a water balloon fight and a massive art piece painted entirely on Onewheels.
“Getting this cast of characters together to ride Onewheel+ for the first time was epic,” says Onewheel Chief Evangelist, Jack Mudd. “The creativity, progression, and positive energy of the group coupled with the performance of Onewheel+ made for unbelievable display of riding and shenanigans. Nobody wanted to get off the boards at the end of the day.”
Three years after the release of the original Onewheel, which is now ridden by many of the world’s best action sports athletes, parent company Future Motion launched Onewheel+, which offers a more powerful and dialed riding experience. The Onewheel+ includes a completely redesigned motor featuring patented Hypercore technology, which produces more torque and allows riders to go up to 19mph. Also new for Onewheel+, Surestance hardwood footpads include tip and tail kick and refined Digital Shaping settings provide more control and board feel.
