Nikita Clothing has taken advantage of the early season snow this past October, producing a snowboard edit highlighting the DIY side of pre-season snowboarding. Nikita brought together veteran team rider Nirvana Ortanez with new team addition for 2016 Grace Mayernik, and drove across the western states to a hidden patch of untouched snow.
Says Grace Mayernik of the project, “This was my first few days of riding on snow this season and my first time as a part of the Nikita team. I had so much fun! The snow melted fast but it was cool to catch it right before it was gone. I can’t wait for the next storm to come through so we can get back on snow again.”
Nikita is excited to welcome Grace to the team as well as have her join them on their initial project of the season.
This piece is the first from Nikita for the winter and highlights the brand’s dedication to authentic female snowboard representation. Nikita plans to release further content this season and beyond, continuing to support and outfit girls who ride.
