Superbrand is pleased to announce the hiring of action sports industry veteran Rudy Vasquez as Vice President of U.S. Sales and Marketing. Vasquez began his career repairing surfboards at Pacific Moon surf shop, went on to become VP of global sales at Skullcandy and Hurley ACX (The Wheat Group), and has held key marketing positions at Spy, Adio, and Clive.

“I couldn’t be more stoked to join the Superbrand family,” says Vasquez. “I’ve watched Superbrand sustain and grown its market position in one of the most critical categories, during the most challenging economy we’ve ever seen. I feel our brand has proven that we’re here to stay and poised for great success as we further expand our apparel offering. Our unique designs across all categories has given us reason to exist…it’s our job to always continue to evolve, while carving our own path. I’m proud to join our very talented design, sales, and marketing team,” he adds.

“Our team keeps getting better and better,” says Superbrand CEO Marcelo Bengoechea. “With Rudy coming on board we continue to connect all the necessary dots to make a solid impact in the market.
