Los Angeles, CA – February 24th, 2015 – Echo Park based surf brand Echo Park Surf Squad is giving-away a free Telecaster Guitar provided by Fender and signed by Los Angeles based punk band FIDLAR (voted top 5 best punk album by LA Magazine).
In honor of Echo Park Surf Squad’s four year anniversary, they are giving away a Telecaster guitar to a lucky contestant who Photoshops a wave breaking in their local lake or body of water (spot that never has surf) and posts it to Instagram @echoparksurfsquad or Twitter @EPsurfsquad and hashtags it #LotusPoint
Contestants will be judged on originality and humor, with the winner being announced through Echo Park Surf Squad’s Instagram and Twitter on March 22nd. Available to US residents only.

Echo Park Surf Squad is an inner-city surf brand focusing on quality T-shirts made locally in Los Angeles. Each run of T-shirts are custom made, starting with the rolls of pima-cotton fabric, pattern-maker, sewing, dye house and finally ending up at the screen printer before being shipped to their warehouse in Echo Park.
Established in 2011 with a nostalgic, tongue-in-cheek approach to surfing, their founders began by Photoshoping a surfable wave breaking in Echo Park Lake.
