Press release:

Just in time for the forthcoming climate changes, Vans Mountain Edition Apparel returns for the fall season with an updated range of weather-resistant outerwear. Mountain Edition Apparel marks true innovation in Vans’ design history showcasing advanced construction techniques and materials across a six-piece assortment. Vans Mountain Edition Apparel resurfaces with three colorways of the Rutherford jacket and a trio of hybrid shirt jackets with single color-ups of the Dixon, Rutherford and Tanka silhouettes. The heavyweight Rutherford jacket sports a varsity-inspired aesthetic, treated with a water-resistant coating and styled with vegan leather sleeves, two front snap pockets and Vans embossed label on the left chest. The Tanka follows up with a simple-yet-stylish form featuring a weather-protected waxed canvas build, flannel lining, reinforced elbows and discrete branding at the hem. Bringing the collection to a close, the Dixon and Santa Fe hybrid shirt jackets are two progressive designs that are made of hollow yarns with a cotton-like feel for heat insulation, taffeta liner materials and Durable Water Resistance (DWR) treatments. Vans Mountain Edition Apparel retails from $119.50 to $149.50 and is available now at key Vans stockists.
