ORLANDO, FL. (December 17, 2013) – Rider Sandals is delighted to announce that Ricardo Mohr, former marketing manager for Rider Sandals in Brazil is joining Rider’s US marketing team.
Mohr, during his time leading the marketing efforts for Rider in Brazil drove 20 percent growth for the brand in its home country. Mohr will split time between Brazil and Rider’s US offices in Orlando.
“Rica was instrumental in implementing disciplined marketing initiatives that sparked our Brazilian operation and we’re delighted to add him to our US team,” said Angelo Daros, Vice President of Marketing at Rider USA.
Rider USA is a leading maker of sandals aimed at the surf, beach and college demographics.
“The foundation is in place in the US market and I’m delighted to jump in and help the brand accelerate its growth plan here in the US,” said Mohr.
Prior to working with Rider in Brazil, Mohr spearheaded the marketing operations in Brazil for Converse, where he helped the Brazilian arm of Converse become the largest growing country for Converse as well as being recognized by Converse for implementing the best Digital and PR Marketing campaigns.
