Longtime Quiksilver salesman Sandy Schwarzenbach has joined Vans as Director of Apparel, National Accounts – a new position for the company.

Henry Cosio, Vans VP of Sales for U.S. and Mexico, filled me in on the details.

“We’ve added a tremendous amount of resources to the apparel, product and development teams and our sales continue to accelerate.  So I felt it was time to add additional resources on the sales side,” Henry said.

“Sandy will be overseeing all of our national account apparel business. Sandy will also be overseeing the moderate apparel business, Kohl’s and JC Penney.  Jim Watson, Director of Core Apparel, will continue to be focused on the independent core channel.

“Sandy comes to us with over 28 years of experience at Quiksilver.  He is a great addition to our team.  His knowledge and expertise within these channels will be an asset to my team.

“As our apparel business continues to grow, we will continue to add resources as needed.”
