When Fox Head Inc. decided to form a board of directors two years ago, CEO Pete Fox hated the idea.
“I didn’t want any more meetings,” he said.
But he now loves the board, which helps keep him focused. Currently, the five-member board consists of his father who founded the brand, his brother, himself, the CFO and an outside attorney/business advisor.
Pete came to like the board so much, he wanted to enlarge it with one outside member this year and a second outside member next year.
