The Bright Trade Show is very pleased to announce a whole new concept at Bright 13: The Bright Festival, which will be held July 7th to 9th in Statsi Gelaende, Berlin, Germany. Next to the trade show building, the streets will turn into a market and the soccer field into a Skate Plaza.
For the first time, this summer we will offer an end consumer related market with catering booths, sale and clinic places. Exhibitors will also be able to take a break from the business inside the show, and enjoy the gentle marketplace.
The skatepark will be a 4000qm place for international demos and the first edition of the Above the Line contest.
Come and watch amazing skateboarding on an extraordinary skate plaza!
Overtaking half of the soccer field next to the main building, the Bright Skate Plaza will be hosting world class skate demos, as well the relentless Above The Line Contest, a new type of street contest, on Friday July 8th and Saturday July 9th.
The split-level skatepark park, divided in sections, will feature professional international skateboarders competing against each other in a jam session format. Every line and landed trick will be awarded points, with the 16 highest scorers qualifying for the finals on Saturday, and a chance to run for the 10.000€ prize money.
A market / brand village will be located on Normannenstrasse, between the main building and the Skate Plaza Arena. Open on July 7th, 8th & 9th, this area will offer exhibiting brands to interact with their end consumers through a variety of games, sales, test clinics, and food stands.
As part of the Berlin Fashion week, this brand new area will allow to bring the Bright Experience to local berliner skateboarders and their families and create a public happening for the skateboard community alongside Europe’s leading trade show.
