June 27, 2011 – Atticus Clothing (https://www.atticusclothing.com), the original music influenced apparel brand from Los Angeles, California announced it now has a SE Asia license agreement with Singapore based Wildwave LLP.

As part of the agreement, Wildwave will expand the Atticus apparel collection in the region focusing on direct retail distribution while also extending the current line to include both men’s and women’s apparel and accessories. Wildwave plans to open 50 Atticus retail locations over the next 5 years in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Burma and the People’s Republic of China.

Atticus Clothing CEO and Owner, Dale Masters, has a global vision for the company that started in Los Angeles back in 2001. With distribution and licensees in place in North America and Europe, Masters’ vision has recently focused on the growing Asian market where the Atticus brand is already well known due to targeted Social Media efforts in the region.

Facebook followers of the Atticus brand already exceed 100,000 people globally, many of which are from SE Asia.

“We are always looking to grow the reach of the Atticus brand, and SE Asia is an ideal region for us to continue expansion into areas that have strong growth potential,” said Atticus Clothing CEO, Dale Masters.

“The streetwear and music scene has seen tremendous increase in popularity throughout Asia during recent years. With Atticus Clothing, we’re looking to establish wider distribution in all markets, while helping the brand further connect with existing and new consumers.”

“We are very pleased to announce our new partnership with Wildwave” added Atticus Marketing Manager – Asia/Pacific, Dan Purnell.

“Our brand is at the core of music and street fashion and has so much momentum right now, so we are looking forward to working closely with Wildwave to bring Atticus to new audiences and developing a very successful apparel line in that part of the world.”

About Atticus Clothing

Atticus is a brand of clothing founded in 2001 by Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge of Blink-182, and their childhood friend Dylan Anderson. The brand continues to grow and follow its historic roots, with a strong connection with musicians. Atticus Clothing is available at its flagship store in Los Angeles, the atticusclothing.com webstore, Hot Topic (USA), Play.com (UK), Imperial (Germany) and leading streetwear stores worldwide.

The name Atticus Clothing was derived from the main character’s father in the book To Kill a Mockingbird by the author Harper Lee. The Atticus logo, created by Dylan Anderson, depicts a bird lying on its back in an almost cartoon death position, inspired by the To Kill a Mockingbird title.
