SUPPORTING SAN DIEGO’S ‘GROMS’ THROUGH A CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT
HOSTED BY THREE LOCAL BUSINESSES
Oceanside, Ca (February 15, 2012) Surf Ride, Ezia, and Bull Taco are hosting their Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament, Golf for Groms, benefiting StandUp For Kids and Rady Children’s Hospital, to be played at The Crossings in Carlsbad, CA on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
This charity golf tournament is being held to benefit StandUp For Kids and the Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation. StandUp For Kids and Rady children’s Hospital are 501 (c) (3) non-profit organizations.
The mission of StandUp For Kids is ending the cycle of youth homelessness. Rady Children’s Hospitals mission is to restore, sustain and enhance the health and developmental potential of children through excellence in care, education, research and advocacy.
Every day, hundreds of San Diego kids are sick, injured, or living on the streets. Your support through Golf for Groms ensures that every child who needs either physical or emotional assistance receives the best possible care.
Golf for Groms will take place at The Crossings at Carlsbad, a state-of-the-art 18-hole championship municipal golf course that offers amazing views of the coastline and a relaxing natural environment. The course features multiple options and terrain to challenge golfers of all skill levels making it the ideal location to host Golf for Groms.
Surf Ride, Ezia, and Bull Taco are rallying the troops in the Action Sports industry and local community in order to raise money through a unique and exciting Golf Tournament. The Golf for Groms Tournament is the perfect opportunity to support our up and coming youth at the grassroots level. Participants will be members of the local community as well as executives from the action sports industry.
