Paul Gomez departs from Podium

Paul Gomez has left Podium Distribution as CEO, Podium partner Brian Dunlap confirmed yesterday.

Paul, the longtime head of marketing and an original partner in Hurley, joined Podium Distribution last summer.

Brian said the separation was on good terms and was announced internally on Friday.

Podium has the brands DVS, Matix and Diamond Footwear under its umbrella. Brian, Kevin and Mike Dunlap and Tim Gavin are also owners in the company.

Podium has gone through some major restructuring over the past few years as the economy contracted and the skate market changed.
