Surf Expo Introduces New Product Categories at September Show
July 24, 2012— Retailers across the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, and South and Central America seeking merchandise and point of purchase items to increase their shop revenue will find even more merchandise selections at Surf Expo’s September 2012 edition with the introductions of two new product categories: Consumables and LifeStyle.
Featuring specialty foods, protein and energy drinks, water, nutritional supplements, snacks/confections, and personal accessories like water bottles, Consumables is dedicated to this growing market segment and its appeal to boardshop retailers, beach and gift shops, and resort boutiques alike.
Consumables exhibitors will include VPX Sports, NoGii Paleo bars, NOW energy bars APSU Surf? Supplement, HDX Hydration Mix? and Caveman Foods.
Attendees are invited to join Vipe Dasai, CEO of HDX Hydration Mix, on Thursday, September 6, at 11:30 a.m. for “Creating New Profit Centers with New Categories,” to learn how to identify new consumable products for their store, merchandising techniques and how to educate staff.
LifeStyle will feature progressive, fashion-conscience brands in an artistic environment that promotes creativity and its own vibe. The area surrounds a DJ lounge each afternoon. Exhibitors in LifeStyle will include Ini Coopertive, Jedidiah, Topo Ranch, Insight, VSTR, Yums, Johnny Fly Clothing and Tee Ink.
