We hit the floor of Surf Expo for a second day on Friday and found lots of energy in the afternoon, especially around the large SUP section.
Â
I ran into Kim Ball, the owner of Hi-Tech in Maui, who had made the long trip to Orlando because he said it’s really the only hardgoods show around anymore, and hardgoods are the lynchpin of his business.
Â
Kim said he and his team tried out several new brands during demo day, and had already written orders at the show.
Â
We ran into many other people during the day, and have photos, above, of what and whom we saw.
