Encinitas, CA (January 4, 2013) – Ipath footwear is proud to announce the addition of Shuriken Shannon as the newest pro on the Ipath skate team.
Shuriken is 26 years old and currently lives in his hometown of San Diego, CA. His other sponsors include Santa Cruz Skateboards, Independent, OJ Wheels, Remind Insoles and Billabong.
Shuriken’s father was a martial arts expert and the name Shuriken means “Ninja Star”. His break-through part was in Osiris’ 2007 film, Feed the Need and he went pro with Black Label skateboards shortly after.
“I’m hyped to be part of the Path,” says Shuriken, “I’m looking forward to the future and continue to do what I love to do, let’s keep on rollin…”
Shuriken now rides for Santa Cruz Skateboards and recently filmed the winning entry in the TransWorld SKATEboarding’s “Skate & Create” contest with the rest of the team. Shuriken is also working on a part for the 2013 X Games “Real Streets” contest.
