Carlsbad, CA (February 2, 2013) – Following great response in early showings, the Dragon NFX snow goggle has been named the goggle category winner at the 2013 ISPO Awards. Recognized by a panel of 57 prestigious journalists, retailers, athletes and designers from 14 different countries, the ISPO award solidifies the NFX’s position in the market place as an aesthetically unique frameless goggle with next level technological features.

“Dragon is focused on creating innovative products, and it’s great to be recognized for it,” says Dragon’s Director of Product, Mike Tobia.” This award is exciting for us as a brand and reinforces our position as a leader in the goggle space.”

Unveiled as a limited holiday 2012 release, the NFX goggle utilizes Dragon’s patented frameless design and all-new cylindrical lens system to create a streamline frame that allows for maximum peripheral vision. In addition, the NFX boasts quick and easy lens interchangeability, armored ventilation, hypoallergenic micro-fleece lining with triple layer face foam for exceptional comfort, a flexible dual lexan lens with super Anti-Fog treatment, and helmet compatibility.

“The NFX feels really good on the mountain, and the peripheral vision is insane,” says Dragon rider and Olympic hopeful Luke Mitrani. “The fact that I can switch out lenses quickly to adapt to changing conditions is a big deal to me, especially when I’m ready to ride.”

Look for the NFX goggle to make its full debut at the SIA Snow Show in Denver, CO and in Munich at ISPO 2013.
