Jeff Johnson is more accomplished than you. Don’t be bummed, or rush to your adventure credentials and expedition resume’. Accept it and be inspired. But If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Roark is proud to announce that Jeff is officially a Revivalist. He adds a well-traveled point of view that’s extremely unique along with intensive product creation knowledge. Apart from climbing El Cap many times, saving lives on the North Shore, charging Sunset, running ultra-marathons and most recently the John Muir trail, riding motos and skating East Bay bowls – Jeff is a published writer, director, photographer and storyteller. In 2010 he retraced the steps of Yvon Chouinard and Doug Tompkins trip from Ventura to Patagonia in the documentary 180 Degrees South. But to dig up the rest of his accomplishments, you need to travel with Jeff. They’re usually disseminated in a fire-side chat in the form of story. The more remote the fire, the deeper the tales get. We loved Jeff’s stories so much that we’ve taken him around the world to Argentina, Scotland and beyond to feed our appetite. We’re hopeful to hear about his stint as a flight attendant on the Honolulu to Tokyo route in the 90’s on our next trip together. Stay tuned…
At Roark, Jeff joins our rag tag crew of ambassadors on their obsessive journey down the road oft not traveled and will also stand in as a consultant alongside the product design team. We can’t wait to support his journey and share it.
