California-based accessories brand RAEN has announced the appointment of Jeffrey Ishmael as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Ishmael will be based in the company’s global Oceanside headquarters and report to brand CEO, Jeff Fitzhugh.

In his new role as CFO, Ishmael will be leading the company’s financial growth, and overseeing all aspects of the operational business.
“Jeffrey is an accomplished executive with extensive corporate financial experience including manufacturing, retail, strategic planning and international operations.” said Jeff Fitzhugh, CEO of RAEN. “We believe he is the ideal person to lead the RAEN financial organization as we continue to experience explosive growth globally. Not only does he have a proven history of being a capable leader in the industry, Jeffrey also solidifies our executive management team as we continue to successfully and strategically build the RAEN global operations.”
Ishmael brings more than 20 years of extensive financial and operational experience to RAEN. He most recently served three years as CFO at cybersecurity company, Obsidian Security, and prior to that was the founding CFO at Cylance, where after 4.5 years, he was able to grow the company to $200M in billings, with over 600 employees and $177M in financing transactions. In his prior roles, he’s overseen core operational areas such as Finance, Legal, HR, Business Operations, Business Intelligence and Treasury operations. Additionally, he worked in the Action Sports industry with notable brands such as DC Shoes, O’Neill Wetsuits, GT Bicycles and Pacific Sunwear.
