Maho Shades announces the appointment of Jordan Poston to managing partner. Poston began working with Maho Shades in March of 2019, serving as its e-commerce and marketing director. Her role will continue to drive e-commerce and marketing and expand to include financial oversight for the brand.
“Jordan quickly became an integral part of our business, helping us grow the e-commerce channel by 75% in less than a year,” said Maho Shades co-founder Alex Anderson. “With this partnership appointment, we’re so proud to say that in our fifth year of business, our brand is now majority women-owned. We’re incredibly excited for what’s to come, and we have some big ideas for the brand.”
Poston holds a master’s degree in fashion merchandising and retail management from LIM University. She has spent nearly a decade working in the fashion industry, mastering and learning the process of how to balance a business’s performance with its connection to the consumer.
Poston has already set impressive goals for the brand, “We’re getting aggressive with revenue goals and buying strategy as we head into 2021. The brand is in an incredible place right now, and we’re heading into a breakthrough season with new styles,” said Poston. “This appointment is a milestone for me. With Maho Shades, I truly feel like I have the best of both worlds: challenging myself in my career, while remaining empowered as a mother.”
