During these crazy times with shutdowns and businesses struggling, Surface has committed to reimagining suncare and continues to focus on improving ways to package sunscreens.
“We have been working on this project for a year now and we are thrilled to be able to be the first surf brand to bring Ocean Waste Recycled Packaging to the core suncare market” said Guy Trotter founder of Surface Products.
Our first set of products we are launching with this OWP Packaging are our very popular Mineral Zinc Oxide SPF45 Facesticks and our Anti Chafe Stick.

This new OWP Surface packaging is constructed using actual recycled plastic debris picked from the ocean by paid fisherman in the Indochina area. “When you purchase a Surface Facestick or Anti Chafe Stick you are literally pulling plastic waste from the oceans!”
Not only is the Surface SPF45 Facesticks and Anti Chafe sticks made with the Ocean Waste Packaging, but these sticks are 100% recyclable after use. “We made sure we were not only pulling waste from the oceans but also wanted to make sure these products did not end up back in the ocean.” Says Guy
