Seaesta Surf brings beachwear into the modern age with its latest collaboration, a new line of boardshorts inspired by the superhero rock band, The Aquabats. The five-member troupe, draped in bright blue rashguards and donning black masks are known for fighting evil and boredom throughout the land. Now, the rock band who sings songs like Super Rad! and Pool Party! has been immortalized in the latest Seaesta prints.
Fans can pick beachwear in two colorways: Bat Black or Super Cyan. All original pieces are made from eco-friendly fabrics with 52% organic cotton and 48% recycled polyester and includes children’s boardshorts and button-up shirts. Adults can get in on the fun, too, with matching boardshorts and button-up shirts. It’s a super rad family affair.
These fun-filled designs incorporate The Aquabats logos and hidden “Easter Eggs” for loyal fans to find. The designs are gleaned from some of the popular Aquabats songs like Pizza Day! Pool Party! and Shark Fighter!
“We had a blast working directly with The Aquabats crew to design a collection that was true to their roots and our vibe. It was the perfect pairing: Pizza Day! and Pool Party! meets #surfeatnap,” said Julia Wheeler, Creative Director and Co-Founder.
