Slowtide is proud to release a limited edition collection with the iconic Hawaiian brand, Reyn Spooner. Created with the aloha spirit in mind, this capsule consists of two lightweight turkish towels and a changing poncho. Each item ties back to a classic Reyn Spooner design: the Lahaina Sailor print. From the Spooner archive, this design made its debut in 1968 and showcases the Hawaiian state flower, state bird, state tree and Hawaiian state flag. It captures the old spirit of Hawaii and was inspired by the bandanas worn by sailors visiting the village of Lahaina, Maui.
This 100% sustainably sourced capsule brings the iconic print to a new lightweight canvas: towels. The Lahaina Turkish Towel is offered in two colorways: red and blue. These oversized towels are sand-resistant, versatile and dry 3X faster than a standard cotton towel. The Lahaina Turkish Changing Poncho is offered in the classic Spooner navy blue colorway. The changing poncho features a kangaroo pocket for storage, a double layer woven hood and a hidden internal access opening so you can change privately in public. Given its lightweight nature, this changing poncho is the perfect grab-and-go for any adventure.
