Authentic Brands Group, the owner of Volcom, Quiksilver, Roxy, Billabong and a host of other industry brands, filed paperwork in the Liberated Brands Chapter 11 bankruptcy case Thursday asking the court to approve approximately $4.5 million in royalty payments that it says Liberated owes Authentic since Liberated filed its bankruptcy protection petition Feb. 2.
