“Noah brings a new perspective to our climb program,” said Cale Meyer, Brand Manager at Mountain Hardwear. “His dedication to his craft and commitment through thinking freely and eagerness to create together– excites us to seek wilder paths together.”
Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 22-year-old Noah Wheeler has quickly become a standout figure in the climbing community. With career-defining accomplishments in his young career – like the third ascent of Return of the Sleepwalker (V17), the second ascent of Shaolin (V17), and numerous first ascents including Quartz (V14) and Starstruck (V14) – Noah has established himself as a force to be reckoned with on some of the world’s most difficult boulder problems.
Noah credits his success to qualities like dedication, mental strength, and an insatiable thirst for learning.”Glad to join the team! I’m psyched on the brand vision. I’m looking forward to representing and collaborating with Mountain Hardwear on future projects!
Noah’s list of achievements reads like a catalog of the world’s most challenging boulders, including the third ascent of Defying Gravity (V15), where he executed groundbreaking campus beta that redefined what was possible on the climb. His ability to problem-solve, think critically, and execute creative new solutions cements his reputation as a next-generation climbing innovator.
Beyond physical feats, Noah aspires to create content that inspires the climbing community, an extension of his personal philosophy. Noah and his brother, Benn, also run a YouTube channel, Wheel Rock, with a focus on showcasing diverse experiences and talent in climbing.
Noah’s partnership with Mountain Hardwear aligns not just with his athletic pursuits, but his passion for storytelling and growing the climbing community. With a shared ethos of inclusion and adventure, this collaboration aims to inspire more outdoor enthusiasts to explore and reach new heights.
