Salt + Air Studios and Rogue.TV, led by acclaimed cinematographer and director Mike Prickett, are proud to announce that they have won two Emmy® Awards at the 54th Annual Emmy® Awards presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS).
The honors were awarded for Outstanding Achievement in Television for the live broadcasts of the 2024 Eddie Aikau Big Wave Invitational and the 2024 Molokai Hoe World Championship.
These back-to-back wins are a powerful acknowledgment of the studio’s commitment to revolutionizing how ocean sports are captured and shared — combining cutting-edge live broadcast technology with groundbreaking camerawork to bring global audiences closer than ever to the action, culture, and drama of the world’s most iconic water events.
“This is a massive win not just for our team, but for the ocean sports community at large,” said Mike Prickett. “We do this to honor the athletes, the stories, and the deep connection between people and the ocean. The recognition is just icing on the cake.”
