Jørgen Jørgensen, the fourth-generation owner of Norwegian brand Norrøna, said he considered going into finance or trading stocks. But his love of building things, along with his intimate knowledge of the company his family built — from spending evenings at the factory learning to sew and experimenting with product development, to joining the board at age 21 — meant it seemed like the natural choice to take over the company.
