From September 20-28, the Quiksilver Festival by Swatch will take over Les Landes, the most iconic stretch of coastline in Europe. A unique event filled with surf competitions, concerts, art, skate, movie screenings, encounters with surf legends and more.
Free and open to all, this high-paced event created by surfers Jérémy Flores and Miky Picon is the season’s go-to event!
A LEGENDARY LINE-UP
Twenty-four of the world’s best surfers will come together in the mythical waves of France’s Les Landes. Kelly Slater, Kai Lenny, Matt Wilkinson, Coco Ho, Zeke Lau and up-and-comer Milla Coco Brown will be on the ground, alongside French champions such as Olympic Gold Medalist Kauli Vaast and teammates MichelBourez, Joan Duru and Maud Le Car. World Championship Tour fixtures Marco Mignot, Kanoa Igarashi, Alan Cleland and Vahiné Fierro, will also be expected on the beaches of Capbreton, Seignosse and Hossegor. The promise of an incredible show on France’s famed beachbreaks.
JEAN JULLIEN – ARTISTIC DIRECTION, EXCLUSIVE COLLECTION
For this third edition, the Quiksilver Festival has put its artistic direction in the hands of internationally acclaimed French artist Jean Jullien. Born in Nantes, this passionate surfer is known for his graphic style at the crossroads between expressive simplicity and humour.
Jean Jullien created both the visual identity and the official poster for the event, featuring a massive life-like wave ready to devour surfers – a symbol of the ocean’s power and of the festival’s high-intensity energy.
In his words : “I grew up with my aunt and uncle’ s Nova Fun surf shop, and Quiksilver was front and center in this visual culture I was so drawn to. I’m proud to add my touch to the Quiksilver Festival and therefore join a lineup of artists who played around with the wave’ s iconography .”
Jean Jullien additionally created an exclusive, limited-edition capsule collection for the 2025 Quiksilver Festival, including t-shirts, hoodies, long-sleeve shirts, jackets, caps and more. Each piece features visual elements of the original illustration, a way for festival-goers to take a piece of the experience home with them. Highlights you won’t want to miss
Beyond the surfing, audiences will be able to enjoy free concerts showcasing international headliners and new talents alike, as well as skate demos by the Swatch team, exhibits, signing sessions and exclusive movie screenings. One of them will be Dos au Mur presented by acclaimed French surfer Jérémy Flores himself.
True to its free and festive DNA, the Quiksilver Festival will roll out to the beat of eclectic sounds, from a musical opening party to evenings at The Surfing, culminating in an electro closing party in collaboration with Deezer.
THE FULL PROGRAM
The 24 surfers will be split into 12 teams and face one another in 4-rider heats. Some rounds will have a theme: Best Barrel, Best Turn, Best Combo. Other times competitors will surf freely, showcasing their favourite tricks. At the end of each heat, the judges will save their best wave, which will contribute to the team’s total score.
Over the course of the 10-day waiting period, the four days with the best conditions will be chosen by the Competition’s Director, Miky Picon, to run the event.

Surf Sessions on les Landes’ mythical breaks (Capbreton, Hossegor, Seignosse) → Free format, competitions by team (Air & Barrel, Turns, Combos, Twin-Fin) – will be determined on the day of, depending on the conditions.
