Known for redefining post-surf essentials with their category-leading Changing Poncho, lifestyle brand Slowtide is proud to announce the launch of the All-Weather Parka: a rugged, weather-ready outerwear piece designed for extended exposure to the elements.
Inspired by years of customer feedback and real-world experience, the All-Weather Parka was built for cold mornings, stormy surf checks, rainy sidelines, and wet post-swim transitions. It’s the brand’s most advanced outerwear release to date, and a natural evolution from the product that put Slowtide on the map.
The concept took shape on Vancouver Island, where one of Slowtide’s co-founders lives. With wind, rain, and unpredictable conditions as the daily norm, it became the ideal testing ground. From there, the Parka was field-tested by Canadian surf pioneer and Coast Guard member Raph Bruhwiler, along with longtime friend and professional surfer Josh Mulcoy, in the harshest conditions around Tofino, BC.
“This wasn’t about adding features for the sake of it,” said Dario Phillips, Slowtide Co-Founder. “It’s about building something that holds up when you’re standing in the rain for hours, when your hands are freezing, when you’re not done being outside.
”All-Weather Parka Key Features:
- DWR-coated waterproof outer shell for reliable rain and wind protection
- Oversized fit and extra length for easy changing and full coverage
- Fleece-lined hand pockets for instant warmth
- Interior pocket to keep your essentials safe and dry
- Oversized hood with drawcords for storm-ready coverage
- Two-way zipper for flexibility when seated, moving, or layering
The Parka joins Slowtide’s broader line of functional, design-forward gear rooted in surf culture but built for all kinds of outdoor life. With headquarters in California, Canada, and Hawaii, the brand continues to expand from the beach into everyday environments where staying warm, dry, and ready matters.
