Peak Performance, the renowned Scandinavian outdoor brand, is expanding its Canadian presence with the opening of a second retail location in Vancouver. The new store will begin trading on November 29 at 813 Burrard St, Vancouver, BC V6E 1A7, right in the heart of the city’s most iconic shopping destination.
Building on the success of its Kitsilano concept store, which opened in December 2023, the new Burrard Street location will offer a curated, seasonally shifting selection of high-performance apparel for skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and everyday urban adventure—all rooted in the brand’s commitment to functionality, innovation, and Scandinavian design. The larger Burrard Street store will feature an expanded product assortment, with an emphasis on more color options across the brand’s most popular styles.
Positioned just steps away from major city landmarks like the Vancouver Art Gallery and Stanley Park, Burrard Street is one of Vancouver’s most visited corridors and is often dubbed “Vancouver’s Runway” for its high-traffic footfall and style-conscious crowd.
“While the Kitsilano store was introduced as a ‘concept store,’ the new Burrard Street location takes things a step further. This isn’t just a commercial expansion, it’s a statement,” said Marcus Grönberg, the Vancouver-based Vice President of Global Expansion for Peak Performance. “Burrard represents a bold step forward for our brand in North America, offering guests the most immersive Peak Performance experience to date.”
In addition to its two Vancouver retail locations, Peak Performance maintains its North American headquarters in North Vancouver. These locations form the core of the brand’s expansion into the broader North American market and function as hubs for their local communities while ensuring convenient access to technical apparel.

The city of Vancouver, especially the welcoming Kitsilano community, has embraced us from day one. Thanks to the incredible response, we’re proud to expand with a second location. The new store features a Scandinavian aesthetic, with brightly lit interiors and light wood furnishings. Unique advice and personal guidance from the store’s ambassadors will be a key focus, along with innovative personal services, such as free repairs, and high-energy in-person events. The store will be open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
