RECCO, global manufacturer of advanced rescue technology that enables faster outdoor searches, announces its second year product collaboration with H&M Move. After H&M Move’s debut with RECCO last year, this season’s line of fashion-led ski wear expands access to products that have RECCO reflectors integrated with new styles for women, men and kids.
New products this season in the women’s, men’s and kid’s categories will showcase the full spectrum of modern skiwear, including puffy jackets, ski suits and pants. The use of RECCO reflectors provides an integrated level of searchability in case of an emergency.
“We are proud to deepen our partnership with RECCO in this year’s ski collection. By expanding the integration of RECCO Reflectors across more products – now also in our kids’ collection – we aim to make mountain safety accessible to skiers of all ages,” says Marie Fredros, Head of Design H&M Move.
RECCO reflectors are found across a range of outdoor products, across all seasons. A global standard in outdoor search technology, the system is used on 900+ locations in 32 countries of ski resorts and rescue organizations. Search and Rescue professionals are able to utilize RECCO technology to search for people year-round.
“We’re thrilled to continue the collaboration with H&M Move. They have been a great brand partner to work with and we’re excited that their line reaches a very broad segment of outdoor users,” said Fredrik Steinwall, CEO at RECCO. “This collection showcases how style and fashion can seamlessly integrate with functionality and modern technology.”
The RECCO handheld detector can search efficiently in snowy conditions, while the RECCO SAR Helicopter Detector can quickly search large areas, covering a square kilometer in six minutes. The RECCO detector network continues to grow with more and more placements being added. Currently, there are 45 RECCO SAR Helicopter Detectors globally, with 14 located in North America, 28 units deployed across Europe, one in Nepal and two in New Zealand.
The collection is available in stores now.
