Nixon announces the return of its iconic LTD Rock Collection for MusiCares, an exclusive auction of one-of-a-kind timepieces crafted from garments personally donated by some of the most influential musicians in modern history. With 100% of proceeds benefiting MusiCares, the event continues a tradition that blends music, craftsmanship, and philanthropy.
Originally launched in 2000, the Nixon LTD Rock Collection began as a creative experiment—repurposing vintage leather jackets into custom watches. It quickly evolved into something far more personal as legendary artists began donating their own clothing and accessories, transforming each watch into a wearable piece of music history. Over the years, contributors have included Keith Richards, Flea, Tom Waits, the Jeff Buckley Estate, James Hetfield, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink, Jack Black, and Anthony Kiedis, among others.
The 2026 Nixon LTD Rock Collection for MusiCares features a new lineup of extremely rare, individually numbered watches, each accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Presidents of both Nixon and MusiCares. Highlights include:
- Dave Grohl — Nixon LTD Sentry (#19 of 20), featuring a removable field strap made from Grohl’s donated green and blue flannel shirt.
- Krist Novoselic — Nixon LTD Sentry (#12 of 20), with a band crafted from Novoselic’s donated denim jacket.
- Slash — Nixon LTD GTO (#4 of 6), featuring a strap made from his black leather motorcycle jacket.
- Iggy Pop — Nixon LTD Sentry (#2 of 2), with a band created from his donated embossed leather belt.
Each watch is meticulously customized, individually numbered, making them true collector’s pieces that carry both cultural and charitable significance.
