Weston Backcountry is proud to announce the newest addition to its athlete roster: Seth Hill, a seasoned snowboarder whose career spans global contests, influential film parts, and a relentless drive to live and ride on his own terms.

Seth’s addition marks a distinct change in Weston’s core focus from a long standing emphasis on supporting a very broad range of ambassadors and up-and-coming athletes. The addition of Seth is just one step towards finding and investing in supporting a smaller, higher caliber team.

“We love our local and community riders and want to pursue those who are dedicated to pushing the sport further as well as introducing it to a wider community. In shifting our focus to core athletes we’ve realized that we can likely still stay true to inspiring our community while also raising the bar. With Seth it’s a fantastic combination as he’s not only from Colorado, but he’s also a pro athlete that’s very invested in growing the shred community.” – Sean Eno, Director of Marketing

Seth has a strong resume of brand sponsors including Sims, Kemper, and Jones. Seth has earned his place in the history of freestyle snowboarding. Now, he’s setting his sights on a new frontier — blending the creative energy of freestyle with the raw terrain of the backcountry, and shining a particular spotlight on the Colorado shred community through his new films.

“Weston has had X Games and Olympic level riders before but they took the next better offer that came along. It’s awesome to have Seth on the team because he truly believes in and lives Weston’s values, particularly that of community. He’s always elevating those around him and it’s an honor to have him rep the W” – Leo Tsuo – Owner and President

Seth is also a core member of the Flow State Crew (@flow_state_crew), a collective of riders and creatives producing independent snowboard films focused on soul, style, and big mountain freedom.

“Seth represents everything Weston stands for,” says Sean Eno, Marketing Director. “His experience and attitude are unmatched — but more than that, he’s helping us push the boundaries of what Weston can be. His freestyle flavor brings fresh energy to our backcountry DNA.”

Follow Seth’s journey this season through Flow State Crew films, gear collaborations, and backcountry sessions across the Rockies and beyond.
