Overland Expo SoCal returned to Costa Mesa, Calif., for its second year last weekend, transforming the OC Fair & Event Center into a bustling hub of outdoor innovation and community engagement.
Drawing more than 19,000 attendees from 46 states and eight international markets, Overland Expo SoCal solidified its position as a key gathering point for the vehicle-based adventure industry.
Product Launches, Education and Parties at Overland Expo SoCal
The exhibition spaces featured 420 registered exhibitors showcasing the latest in off-road and camping equipment. Taking advantage of the high foot traffic and 59 attending media members, ICECO successfully debuted its newest product, the GoPack12 backpack fridge. The brand’s booth buzzed with meet-and-greets and giveaways, offering visitors an exclusive first look at its latest mobile cooling innovation.

Beyond product launches, the event placed a heavy emphasis on education and networking. The programming included 128 distinct classes, demonstrations, and films led by 56 presenters, trainers and VIPs. This amounted to 146 hours of specialized instruction for the crowds—and the 703 registered dogs that accompanied them to the expo.
Strategic community initiatives also took center stage. The Overland Expo Foundation Charity Raffle raised more than $10,000 through combined contributions from exhibitors and attendees, driving funds toward overland-focused charities. Additionally, the MAXXIS Tires-sponsored Women Who Wander Networking Event brought together female founders, business owners, and local overlanding groups. The initiative provided a welcoming space for women to connect, share personal business journeys, and engage in breakout discussions over mimosas.
Ultimately, the weekend successfully merged brand product innovation with consumer passion, setting a strong pace for the overlanding market in the year ahead.
