The surf, skate, music and art event is back for a fourth consecutive year.
Published: July 6, 2026 Press Release

From September 19-27, 2026, the Quiksilver Festival by Swatch returns to the legendary coastline of Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse in the Southwest of France. For nine days, the region will once again become the go-to event for surf, skate, music and art enthusiasts, with a packed program featuring world-class surfing, live concerts, art, film screenings, skate events and much more.

So Me & Ed Banger set the tone

Following a successful first collaboration with artist Jean Jullien, the Quiksilver Festival by Swatch is handing over the creative reins to a new talent. This year’s visual identity — from the event’s graphic universe to a dedicated merchandising collection including apparel, skateboards and accessories — will be designed in collaboration with So Me, the iconic artistic director behind Ed Banger Records.

A collection born from a shared love of music and boardriding, in So Me’s own words:

When Quiksilver reached out to me for the Festival’s visuals, I got really excited at the prospect of merging the worlds of visual arts, music and boardriding. I felt I could create a world that would be very colourful, bursting with freedom, something I already love to do in my work with Ed Banger Records. The previous editions of the Festival had already created a very strong visual foundation. Beyond my love of the South West of France, this universe speaks to me: skateboarding, rock, rap, electro and visual arts have always been a part of my DNA, a passion I share with Ed Banger’s founder, Pedro Winter, a.k.a Busy P. The Ed Banger family and I are so excited to be on site for what is sure to be a memorable event.

It therefore felt only natural to invite legendary French electronic music label Ed Banger to curate the festival’s entire music lineup. Across nine days, festival-goers can expect an eclectic mix of DJ sets and live performances spread across multiple venues in Capbreton, Hossegor and Seignosse.

In Pedro Winter’s words, the event is where the culture as a whole comes together: “The Quiksilver Festival is exactly my type of event: a place where the borders between music, boardriding, art and community simply disappear. So we imagined a musical line-up that would reflect that. Audiences can expect a mix of musical universes, from Green Star‘s melodramatic rock and dance-pop band Alexsucks to up-and-coming French bass star Tatyana Jane, the iconoclastic Myd and much, much more. This lineup was designed as an invitation for festival-goers to discover artists that I’m really stoked about, from brand new faces to names that have long been alongside Ed Banger. I’m looking forward to spending that week with all of our guest artists as well as some of the world’s best surfers and skateboarders. That cultural melting-pot is, to me, what makes the Quiksilver Festival such an incredible event.

The world’s best riders in Europe’s best waves

Now firmly established as a must-attend gathering for boardriders from around the globe, the Quiksilver Festival will once again welcome some of the biggest names in surfing and skateboarding.

Surf fans can look forward to seeing legends such as Kelly Slater, alongside Quiksilver athletes Kauli Vaast, Jérémy Florès, Marco Mignot, Hughie Vaughan, as well as Coco Ho and Milla Coco Brown.

The skate scene will be just as strong, highlighted by Vincent Milou’s Cash for Trick event in downtown Hossegor. Riders including Sky Brown, Gustavo Ribeiro, as well as Swatch athletes Matthias Dandois and Sam Pilgrim, will also be part of the action.

More than a festival

Beyond surf, skate and music, the Quiksilver Festival continues its commitment to celebrate and protect the playgrounds that bring these communities together.

With the support of Enedis, the festival is pursuing the decarbonization of its sites thanks to its electric network which limits the use of fossil fuels throughout the event, thus reducing COâ‚‚ emissions throughout the event. One of the festival’s most meaningful moments will once again be the joyful surf sessions organized alongside Handisurf and Kind Surf, where professional surfers share waves and unforgettable experiences with people with disabilities.

And if all that wasn’t enough, a lucky group of surf and music lovers will have the opportunity to kick off the adventure before even reaching the coast. On September 18, a specially customized OUIGO train will depart from Paris to Les Landes, transforming the journey itself into the first chapter of the Quiksilver Festival experience.
