Mountain Equipment, the British pioneer of high alpine gear and apparel, has named Elliott Nolan and his High Route Ventures agency as its new sales representative for the Rocky Mountain region, covering Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.
Nolan brings more than 15 years of sales and marketing leadership across the outdoor and action sports industries. He founded High Route Ventures in January 2025, providing go-to-market consulting and independent sales representation to brands across the Rockies and Intermountain West. Along with Mountain Equipment he currently represents Lems Footwear, Grivel, and Hults Bruk.
“Elliott has strong relationships with and understands what independent specialty retailers need to grow the brand in the region,” said Anna Nikolaus, Mountain Equipment North American Brand Manager.
Prior to launching High Route Ventures, Nolan served as Senior Director of Sales & Marketing for Jack Wolfskin North America. Earlier in his career, he held North American Sales Manager roles at Ruffwear, served as Market Director–West for Arc’teryx Equipment, and was a Regional Sales Manager for Amer Sports Corporation, overseeing Arc’teryx, Salomon, and Atomic sales teams across the West region.
