RVCA, Rip Curl, Reef, and Outerknown are among the brands set to exhibit at The Launch by SIMA, the Surf Industry Members Association’s inaugural event Nov. 10-11 at The Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach, Calif.

The Launch brings brands, retailers, and sales reps together and focuses on scheduled appointments. SIMA says the event offers opportunities to write orders for Fall 2027, along with at-once inventory and Holiday 2026 fill-in merchandise.

Retailers signed up so far include Drill Surf & Skate, Jack’s Surf Shop, Edgewater Sports, BC Surf and Sport, ET Surfboards, Thalia Surf Shop, Emerald City Surf Shop, Hanger 94, Harbour Surfboards, Hobie Surf Shop, JK Surfboards, Kanvas by Katin, Kings and Queens, Poipu Surf Co, Quiet Flight, Spyder Surf Shop, Sun Diego Boardshops, Surfride, Surfside Sports, The Bikini Shoppe, Usedsurf, Wavelengths, and Surf Diva, with more expected.

Other exhibiting brands include Vissla, Sisstr, Instinct, Sun Ninja, …Lost, Flojos, Mid Fin Co, Avva, and Distant Local, with a few more expected to sign on at the last minute.

“One thing we’re hearing from retailers is that they want to see a great mix of brands, both established and emerging,” SIMA Executive Director Vipe Desai said in a statement. “That’s encouraging because it tells us there’s an appetite for new products, new relationships, and opportunities to do business. We want to make sure brands are part of that momentum.”

SIMA says the event gives emerging brands a chance to introduce products to specialty surf retailers and establish new accounts. Established brands can strengthen existing relationships, connect with new buyers, and generate additional business.

“The more brands that participate, the more valuable this event becomes for everyone,” Desai said.

Exhibitor opportunities are still available. Brands can contact Desai at vipe@surfindustry.org.
