Job Overview
Duvin Design Co. is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to elevate our vintage-inspired apparel collections. As a key member of the product design team, you will own the design and development of our seasonal collections, working from concept to execution to bring Duvin’s retro beach aesthetic to life. This role will collaborate across departments—production, marketing, and creative teams—to ensure every product reflects our brand’s fun, sun-soaked ethos and meets the highest standards of quality and style.
Key Responsibilities
Product Design: Lead the design process for men’s, women’s, and kid’s collections—including swimwear, cabana shirts, graphic tees, and accessories—blending vintage influences with modern silhouettes and functional comfort.
Concept Development: Create seasonal mood boards, color stories, and design concepts that align with Duvin’s fun, nostalgic identity.
Collaboration: Work closely with production teams in Los Angeles and Orlando to ensure that designs are executed with high-quality custom dyeing, printing, and garment construction.
Sampling & Fittings: Oversee the sampling process, including fittings, revisions, and final approvals to achieve the perfect fit and feel.
Trend & Market Research: Stay ahead of fashion and lifestyle trends, integrating fresh ideas and new techniques that resonate with our core audience.
Cross-functional Teamwork: Partner with the marketing team to ensure collections translate seamlessly into campaigns and retail experiences.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in product design within apparel, preferably in swimwear, surf, streetwear, or lifestyle brands.
Skills:
Strong grasp of garment design, textiles, and production processes.
Ability to turn creative concepts into market-ready products that excite our customer base.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and digital tools for technical design.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
